My story
I turn what science knows into conversations, decisions and projects.
I studied Biological Sciences at Universidade Potiguar. Biology taught me to look at systems: nothing lives in isolation, everything works as a network. I have taken that perspective everywhere I have worked.
I was an analyst at Unimed Centro-Oeste. I worked on public environmental policy at SEMARH and at Instituto Brasília Ambiental. I collaborated with Laboratório Nexus at UnB on research and sustainability.
In 2022 I co-founded Escrita com Ciência, where I am director. From 2023 to 2024 I was a Local Innovation Agent at SEBRAE DF, working in 15 schools. In 2025 I organized IA Experience and the 1º Campeonato de Robótica Brasiliense.
Today I am pursuing a master's degree in Nanoscience and Nanobiotechnology at Universidade de Brasília, studying the commercial viability and socioeconomic impact of a wound healing technology.

Érika Gadelha is a biologist, researcher and entrepreneur. She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Potiguar and a postgraduate specialization in Food Technology from Universidade de Brasília, where she is pursuing a master's degree in Nanoscience and Nanobiotechnology, researching the commercial viability and socioeconomic impact of a wound healing technology.
She built her career across healthcare, public management and science: she was an analyst at Unimed Centro-Oeste, worked on public environmental policy at SEMARH and Instituto Brasília Ambiental, and collaborated with Laboratório Nexus at UnB.
She is co-founder and director of Escrita com Ciência. As a Local Innovation Agent for SEBRAE DF, she worked in 15 schools. In 2025 she organized IA Experience and the 1º Campeonato de Robótica Brasiliense. She was recognized at the Brasil Startups Awards in the Ecosystem Leader (2022) and Woman Entrepreneur (2023) categories.
